​Lumen Studio was founded in 2012 as an independent architectural lighting design studio serving clients in the greater Boston area and beyond. Our founding Principals merged their interests in interior and exterior environments to serve our clients in landscape architecture, transportation, schools, corporate office interiors, historic restoration, and roadway projects. In 2022, Lumen Studio joined Green International Affiliates, Inc., to start a lighting group in-house, while serving our clients better with the added support of a larger firm.  

Lumen Studio believes that lighting is the most important element in the built environment. We are dedicated to our clients at every stage of the design process. We work with daylight, electric light, and controls integration to provide creative and sustainable lighting solutions for many project types and budgets. We are lighting partners in your design process and our artistic and technical skills combine to deliver creative, holistic design solutions. We are committed to every phase of the design process, including post-occupancy and beyond. We remain partners with our clients long after project completion.
